The Voice of the Martyrs

The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church. The Voice of the Martyrs continues in this mission around the world today.

Fort Myers Rescue Mission

The Ft. Myers Rescue Mission was founded in 1973 in downtown Ft. Myers on Fowler Street in a rented house by Rev. Robert Walker. In 1984, we were incorporated in the state of Florida as a non-profit corporation, and in 1986, the Mission bought one and a half acres of property on Dr. M. L. King Blvd. (another one and a half acres was given by a neighbor). In 1987, the Mission opened its doors at their new home.  Since its founding, the Mission has served hundreds of thousands of meals and provided shelter for men, women, and children of all ages. The central heart beat of the Mission has remained to bring a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to all that will come to Him. Countless lives have been transformed by the power of God, delivering souls from drugs, alcohol, and immoral living, and making them fit citizens of this world and the world to come. Each recipient of Mission assistance is expected to actively pursue a productive life, with a desire to escape homeless wandering, and begin a new life as a productive person. All must take responsibility for their actions and follow a course of self improvement. Weekly accountability is maintained for each person.

CFI- Christian Friends of Israel

Christian Friends of Israel-Jerusalem (CFI) is an international evangelical Christian ministry legally registered in Israel with headquarters in Jerusalem where we operate multiple outreaches and administrate the ministry. We also have representative offices throughout the world. CFI represents Christians worldwide who love Israel, and desire to express friendship and a united stand with Israel based on the Bible. Our main objectives are to take the love of Jesus back to the people who brought it to us. We do this through outreach projects in Israel. We also teach the Church about its Hebrew heritage and Biblical responsibility to the Jewish people through monthly and quarterly literature and resources as well as conferences in Jerusalem as well as abroad.

ICEJ- International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) was founded in 1980 as an act of comfort and solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people in their claim to Jerusalem. Today, the ICEJ stands at the forefront of a growing mainstream movement of Christians worldwide who share a love and concern for Israel and an understanding of the biblical significance of the modern ingathering of the Jews to the land of their forefathers. From our headquarters in Jerusalem, through our branches and representatives in over 80 nations, we seek to challenge the Church to take up its scriptural responsibilities towards the Jewish people, to remind Israel of the wonderful promises made to her in the Bible and to be a source of practical assistance to all the people of the land of Israel.

Zion's Hope

In August of 1989, Marv Rosenthal and his wife, Marbeth, traveled south from the headquarters of their former ministry located in southern New Jersey. The Lord clearly led them to Orlando, Florida, to launch Zion’s Hope Inc., an independent, Bible-believing, faith-missionary organization. The name “Zion’s Hope” ideally reflects the ministry’s goals and desires: to fervently, yet graciously share with the Jewish people the Gospel of Jesus, the Messiah. The name “Zion’s Hope” comes from Psalm 53:6 “Oh, that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion!” And hence, the ministry’s heartfelt belief that the only true hope of Zion is salvation through her Messiah. In February 2001, the ministry of The Holy Land Experience was launched. The majestic gates were opened as a new adventure in Christian ministry. Under the leadership of Zion’s Hope, this facility became the world’s first “living biblical museum”. The Holy Land Experience has since moved out as a stand alone ministry while Zion's Hope has continued in the vision of bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Jewish community.
